Counting Star's dome is situated on our 10 acre hobby farm with several horses, cows, chooks and Walter the labradoodle. The property features many trees but the highlight is several very old large oak trees which form part of a extensive garden- which we are happy for you to meander through and just take in the fabulous views.
The Dome has breakfast provided with fresh free range eggs, sour dough bread and pastries. There is a coffee machine and tea pot with an assortment of flavours. Also a microwave.
In the main area there is queen size bed with luxury linen, pot belly stove for those chilly nights and a couple of comfy chairs. You may choose to leave the curtains open so you can lay in bed and count the stars at night. (It sounds great when its raining or watching a storm pass)
The bathroom has a large shower, lite mirror, hair dryer and composting toilet (which you wouldn't know it is). There is an out door claw foot bath for relaxing, reading a book, having a snooze or taking in the views. There is seating including a day bed and hammock for your use around the chiminea (fire pit).
There is also BBQ and dinning area on the deck .
And a TV, if you really need it.
We enjoy the out doors and good food. We have dressage horses, mount bikes and para gliders, which we can do right here on our lovely property.
The surrounding property's are some of the best dairy farm's in the country, with the fabulous back drop of the Strzeleki Ranges on one side and Mt Baw Baw on the other. Easy access to both nationals parks. The Blue rock Lake is only a 10 minute drive for the boating and fishing, Yarragon village is a few minute drive with all its cafe's, gift shops and country style pub (advisable to book for dinning).
