Mount Isa is a fantastic base for exploring Queensland’s rich and rugged mining culture. Discovery Parks – Argylla is close to the highlights of Mount Isa and just over an hour from Cloncurry, and provides a spacious caravan park setting with self-contained cabins available for families and groups.

Neighbourhood information

Don’t miss the guided Underground Mining Experience and the Riversleigh Fossil Centre. Take a day trip to Mary Kathleen Mine and ghost town, or head to stunning Lake Moondarra for swimming, boating and water sports. Drop a line and you might snag a big barramundi.
