Donegal Horse and Farmstay is a 150ha property in the heart of the rolling hills of New England near Tenterfield, with the Bluff River running through it to walk along. Saddler's Retreat is our self catering fully self contained accommodation, set in gardens and paddocks, which you are free to explore and enjoy. Explore nearby Washpool National Park and Torrington Recreation Reserve, and Tenterfield and Deepewater are nearby with a selection of cafes, pubs and restaurants Tesla and EV charging. Wifi and Netflix.
Greg and Simon are both from a farming background and share an interest in cattle and horses. We have been developing our 150ha New England farm since 2005, and have built a lovely house and property that we love to share with others.
Washpool National Park and Torrington State Conservation Area are both nearby, as well as Bald Rock and Boonoo Boonoo Falls to the North of Tenterfield are there to enjoy. Tenterfield boasts a range of Cafes, Wine bars, pubs and clubs as well as boutique shops to browse. Thai, Chinese, Indian and Pizza as well as Pub food is available. The Sir Henry Parks Museum and Railway Museum are very well presented, as well as the famous Tenterfield Saddler.
