This modern townhouse is a short 10 minute walk to the Cairns city centre and a 5 minute walk to the beautiful Cairns Esplanade. Situated inside a secure gated complex, Getaway on Grafton, it features a full size kitchen, 2 upstairs bedrooms each with its own private ensuite, secure undercover parking, washing machine, clothes dryer, 2 balconies (one on each level) and WiFi. Each bedroom can be configured with a king size double or two single beds.

My husband Greg and I love to travel. The excitement of getting to a new destination, exploring and experiencing the culture, the food, and the people. Also finding that perfect Airbnb to stay in. Other than travelling we are semi retired and have renovated two houses which were both a labour of love and hard work but worth it in the end. We both met when we moved to Cairns in 1976. Greg gave me a job on a fishing boat and the rest is history. We both fell in love with Cairns and decided this is where we wanted to settle down and raise our family. We have three children all born in Cairns that love the place as much as we do. One of our daughters gave birth to twin girls this year and we are awaiting on the birth of another baby early 2020. We have The Great Barrier Reef on our doorstep, The World Heritage listed Daintree Rain forest, fresh water swimming holes, majestic mountains, great beaches, abundant sunshine and clean air, amazing seafood, tropical fruit and vegetables. The town house is ideally located in the Cairns CBD within easy walking distance to the city centre, both the private and public hospitals and the esplanade. We recommend renting a car to properly explore the Cairns region including Port Douglas and the Atherton Tablelands.
