Our guests have direct access to the Gippsland Lakes, Paynesville, Raymond Island, Lakes Entrance and more!

You have to get away from the stresses of everyday life - and Getaway is aptly named! This holiday home is located on Raymond Island and has incredible views over Lake King and the mountains beyond. Great for couples, family or groups of friends, it offers laid back style with a mezzanine area for extra sleeping or relaxing. Open fire, great views and perfect location, plus the added bonus of cheeky koalas roaming around – what more could a Getaway offer! Access to Raymond Island is by Ferry only. Tickets are purchased when boarding via eftpos for a Car/Van/Ute, free to walk on. The ferry leaves every 20 minutes, with the final departure from Paynesville at 11:15 pm on weekdays and 12:15 am on the weekend.

Paynesville is a small town located on the shores of Lake Victoria, in the incredible Gippsland Lakes region. With cozy cafes and eateries along the waterfront, local speciality shops, and relaxing foreshore walks, as well as vast opportunities to enjoy the vast lakes system with canoeing, boating, fishing & water sports for the whole family, this little town is a favourite holiday destination for people all over Australia. Visit one of the vibrant & bustling monthly markets to try some local produce or enjoy a coffee in the sun, watching the boats sail past.
