Our love of travel means that sometimes you will meet our lovely management team instead of us, but we are confident that they will give you the same level of service and total privacy if that is what you want. What we all love is welcoming couples to one of our cabins and seeing the change when they have stayed a few days and are checking out totally relaxed and not wanting to go home! Our Sunshine Coast Hinterland retreat is the best way to relax and wind down from your busy life. If you are looking for accommodation in Montville, then look no further.

Our beautiful rainforest retreat in the Sunshine Coast hinterland consists of five beautiful and romantic cottages just 2km from Montville. We specialise in romantic getaways, highlighting personal privacy and seclusion. We provide a selection of breakfast provisions for the first two mornings of your stay and locally made scones with jam and cream on arrival. All of our Montville cottages feature double spa baths for two and a cosy log fire to warm you on cold winter nights. For summer stays all of our cabins are fully air conditioned. You can pamper yourself with a spa treatment at a local day spa or you can order a couples massage to have in your own cottage. For a romantic getaway near to Sunshine Coast beaches and facilities, we have the ideal location for you. Our adults only accommodation will provide you with all of the privacy and quiet seclusion that you've been seeking. Ask about our Romantic Indulgence packages for special occasions such as proposals and anniversaries.

Montville and Maleny are lovely little villages in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland and are part of the Blackall Range. There are many places to visit including spectacular national parks, waterfalls, lakes and bush walks. The villages are full of quirky souvenir shops and fabulous restaurants. We have three local restaurants who offer a courtesy bus to and from Hunchy Hideaway. On top of that, it is less than 30 minutes to the beautiful Sunshine Coast beaches where you can enjoy a day in the sun and then retreat back to your cool mountain hideaway accommodation in Montville. Visit one of the many day spas in the area or book a couples massage with our local masseuse who will come to your cabin and provide massages at the same time. Light the fireplace for an extra romantic touch! The choice is yours.... spend the day exploring or stay home and relax!
