At Lake Callide Retreat we offer friendly but professional service and we respect your privacy during your stay. Located only 1.5 hours from Gladstone & the edge of Rockhampton makes it easily accessible from the Capricorn region.
Our retreat is a great place to stop for relaxing in quiet and spacious surrounds. You can be as relaxed or as adventurous as you like. Callide Dam located next to the Retreat is becoming renowned for its large Barramundi Fish that are caught there. Red claw is also a popular catch with many. Callide Dam is a SIP dam and a fishing permit is required for a small fee online. Kayaker's also love the Dam. An evening stroll along the Dam wall showcases the beautiful sunsets on show here and the picturesque surrounds.
The recreation area with super views across the Dam are a popular spot to picnic, bbq's, or for the children to enjoy the play equipment there. Please note: Pets are not allowed inside our cabins.
We have found that guests always want to return to Lake Callide Retreat after finding our unique place on the edge of the outback.
