My property is unique. It has lots of history behind it. First it was a service station, owned by the Gail family. Later it became a very busy & popular motel, where all the local functions were held including my sisters wedding. Then when the highway was redirected around it, business slowed. It was later split into 2 sections, where I purchased the front section and turned it into 3 charming apartments, full of character. The parking spaces are gigantic, as are the interior spaces. Nothing like the usual cramped motel rooms. I even have a huge undercover carport, fit 4 cars under. Each apartment has its own private outdoor parking & space, and a secure yard.
I am a wildlife carer, we love gardening, renovating, pets, We do a bit of farming and enjoy an odd night camping out there with the family and the grand kids.
The neighborhood here is nice and peaceful. It was once a motel, so is in a prime position on the top of a hill. There is a paddock at the rear, with cows. My place is set well back from even the service road. We overlook the Snowy River flats. The Famous Snowy river is just down the road. Local attractions include the Sailors Grave Brewery, local museum, Places to eat: Pizza, hotel, club, Leon Palace, Cafe's Take aways or take an 8 minute drive to Marlo, that is an estuary of water, sea, surf, beach, river, fish, canoe, hotel, petrol and milkbar, caravan parks and kiosk.
