“This property is south of the island in Lady Barron - with the maritime climate we were pleased that Lady Barron is a bit more sheltered. The photos of the views do not do the property justice! A steep driveway leads to the elevated property...”

Welcome to our family home at Lady Barron on beautiful Flinders Island. The house overlooks Franklin Sound towards the islands and is a comfortable home away from home with all necessary amenities to enable you to enjoy a relaxing holiday.
2 QS beds and 2 singles accommodate friends or family in 3 bedrooms. There's also a workspace with a printer for you to bring your work with you. There's WIFI connected and plenty of books. Easy hiking tracks along the foreshore are just across the road and lovely beaches readily accessible.
The Furneaux Tavern and local shop are within an easy walk and most other attractions and beaches only a short drive away. Fly in to Lady Barron with Flinders Aviation or into Whitemark with Sharp Airlines. For the not so faint hearted, you can also arrive by barge which departs from Bridport.
Flinders Island will soon get into your blood and you will be reluctant to leave this beautiful island.
We can only accept a minimum of 2 night stays.
Although we don't live full time on the island, we are only a phone call or email away.
Flinders Is is one of the friendliest places in Tasmania. The community is always happy to provide information and there are all the services you will need nearby. The wildlife and birdlife is abundant with wombats, wallabies, Cape Barron geese, turkeys, a great assortment of seabirds and of course plenty of fish and crays in season. Snakes too are plentiful.
