Love Alpacas? No Probllamas! Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. With captivating country views, your stay in Canungra will be a memorable one for sure. Immerse yourself in tranquility as you relax like a Canungra local. Views of mountain ranges, paddocks, cows, horses and of course alpacas are all just a step from your door at this country property. Plus, this is the original farmhouse where most of the alpacas from Mountview Alpaca Farm were born and raised! The main Farmhouse consists of 3 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms plus a huge French-Country kitchen. The bed configuration is 1 x King, 1 x Queen, 1 x King Single. There is a huge outdoor deck with seating and extra TV. There is also a back deck with outdoor bath plus a fire pit area. Below the main Farmhouse is a separate studio with an extra queen bed, kitchenette and bathroom. This extra space is included with any bookings above 5 people, and means the complete accommodation covers up to 7 people. If you have up to 5 people in your booking it's just the main house (3 bedrooms/2 bathrooms). If you choose the 6-7 people option you will have 4 bedrooms/3 bathrooms total. We have alpacas and chickens on the farm and uou can feed the alpacas and collect the eggs. We supply fresh eggs, bread, milk and butter for your arrival PLUS a bottle of O'Reilly's sparkling wine to kick start your holiday!

We do not live onsite but are generally available and not too far away if you need us. We respect your privacy and right to relax in your own space in comfort. We can however be contacted any time if an emergency etc. We also own Mountview Alpaca Farm which is located close by at O'Reilly's Vineyard, Canungra.

Canungra is a delightful small town in Queensland's "The Scenic Rim" (Gold Coast Hinterland). It's a 45min drive from Gold Coast beaches such as Surfers Paradise, and an hour plus from Brisbane. It's also a short drive to Tamborine Mountain plus the closest town to popular Lamington National Park and O'Reilly's Rainforest Retreat. Our property is nestled in a stretch of 5-10 acre properties so there is no-one looking over the fence! You will need your own car to travel to our property and we have under cover parking for up to 4 cars, plus extra outdoor (gated) parking on the property.
