Sian and Peter West are Principals of Ocean Blue Coastal Retreats and discovered the Mornington Peninsula in 2004 when purchasing a holiday home as an investment. In 2006, Blue Moon Cottages was purchased and a group of four cottages formed the core of the business. Since then, more accommodation was added and we now have a portfolio of more than 40 properties. Their Mornington Peninsula knowledge comes from living on the peninsula since 2008, and working closely with Tourism Victoria and Mornington Peninsula Tourism has built an award-winning tourism business. They are both “hands on” in the business ensuring both guests and owners are provided with attention to detail at every level.

Longer stay discounts for direct bookings. It's a classic beach house that is a little oasis away from the busyness of the Southern Peninsula, a little nest in the treetops. We love the OCEAN VIEW from the cosy lounge and upper deck. The kids love the putting green and the large bush block that slopes down to the creek. With four generous bedrooms, flexible bedding configuration and modern bathrooms its perfect for our group. Included in your package is a bottle of sparkling wine and small local produce hamper for you to enjoy. PAWfect What fun! a new house to visit that lets four-legged friends like me sleep inside. But there is also a Kennel too. Yay! a garden but my hoomans have to keep an eye on me here because there is no fence and lots of wildlife that I have to be careful to avoid. But I can stay safely by the house in a special place for me that is all secure. And there’s a special basket just for me. No way! What’s in there? Ooh, ooh! a treat from PAWDINKUM. I LOVE THIS PLACE.

Locally, its centrally located for short drives to popular spots for all the family, Tassells Beach (the best dog friendly beach on the Peninsula) is a 4 minute drive away or for the teenagers the famous Pillars is also a 4 min drive. Golfers will love the Mount Martha Golf Course a handy 5 min drive and for the foodies drive 7 mins to Mount Martha Village and grab a table on the balcony at Mr Curtis for coffee, brekkie or lunch. For more formal dining or a casual pizza try Marthas Table (8 mins drive) and take a walk along the boardwalk and admire the boats. You may also see a friendly octopus climbing the rock walls. Own transport is recommended but there is always the option of Uber or Taxi services.
