The Nambucca River offers pristine crystal clear waters for guests to enjoy. Fishing, boating, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding. swimming, snorkelling, fun, fun, fun - in, on & around the water. The river is so clear & clean that you can see the fish and there is abundant wildlife & great bird watching. Dolphin watching is available all year and whale watching is from June to mid November. Nambucca Heads is a small town with some lovely ladies boutiques, some great cafes & restaurants, picture theatre, parks & recreation areas. The Riverside Rest is situated a short, level walk to the RSL, Bowling & Golf clubs. Golf packages are available. The breakwall offers an ever changing artwork, where locals & visitors adopt & paint rocks, some maintaining their artworks year after year. Kids are kept amused in the search for "Wally". As well as the river, Nambucca has some beautiful beaches including Shelly Beach which was voted in the top 10 beaches in Australia.
