Your hosts are Julie and Jason, a married couple who live locally, and their right hand woman Emma. On any given day, you’ll find Julie in the office, managing administration and overseeing that guests have a memorable trip. Jason is the photographer and maintenance hero. Their operations manager, Emma, corresponds with guests and organises the housekeeping teams.

Set within an elevated complex in charming South Hobart, this inviting apartment captures panoramic views stretching across Hobart CBD, Sandy Bay, and the Derwent River. The ground floor offers a seamless open-plan layout, featuring several seating areas, Smart TV, and reverse cycle heat pump - perfect for cosy evenings during the winter months, or cooling off in the summer heat.
Step onto the sun-drenched balcony to soak up waterfront vistas with your morning brew or a glass of wine at sunset. For a more tranquil escape, a bistro table in the sheltered backyard provides an ideal spot to unwind.

Locally, you can enjoy the beautiful Waterworks Reserve, just down the road from your stay. This tranquil bushland retreat has many beautiful walks, an abundance of wildlife, and free BBQs dotted all over the reserve. Fantastic for bird spotting, jogging, and letting the kids run off some energy.
You can also meander to South Hobart, nestled at the foot of kunanyi/Mount Wellington, offering natural beauty and historic charm. Visitors can explore the scenic walking trails (check out the rivulet walk), visit the iconic Cascade Brewery, or wander through quaint streets lined with heritage cottages and vibrant local cafés. Gingerbrown Cafe is a standout.
Also nearby is Sandy Bay, boasting picturesque river views, leafy streets, and a relaxed coastal vibe. It's home to the scenic Short beach, University of Tasmania, and a lively mix of shops, cafés, pubs, and a huge variety of cuisines. This is also the closest area to access essential services and large grocery shops for you.
