An exposed brick façade with an elaborate timber-posted verandah sets the scene for this spacious residence flooded with natural light, interlaced with a blend of elegant period detailing and stylish modern updates.
Perfectly designed for families or groups, two living spaces afford privacy and separation. The formal lounge room has a two-seat leather lounge set under a big bay window and an ornamental fireplace, adding to the home’s charm. The real showpiece is the open-plan family and meals area with a three-seat leather lounge, flat screen TV, a six-seat timber dining table, and multiple glass sliding doors that open to a sunny covered verandah with a barbecue and leafy views. The sleek kitchen is equipped with a stainless steel gas stove and dual-drawer dishwasher, as well as a coffee machine, kettle and toaster.
Sleeping up to six people, the first bedroom is set with a king bed, the second offers a queen and the third can accommodate both children and adults in two king singles. The modern bathroom is styled in black and white with tessellated tiled flooring, two showers and a bath.
Fully fenced with a private rear courtyard and garden that provides a safe-haven for children, it comes complete with a lock-up garage for two cars, high ceilings, sash windows with leadlight inlays, air conditioning and Wi-Fi.

Peacefully positioned in one of Hobart’s most sought-after locations, it is only 100m from North Hobart Oval and 400m to North Hobart’s cosmopolitan cuisine and social scene on Elizabeth Street that has everything from fine-dining restaurants, cheap eats and takeaways to shopping, buzzing bars and grungy cafes. It’s the trendy go-to precinct in Hobart where locals flock to wine, dine and entertain.
Stroll 5 minutes up the road to New Town for fresh produce at the renowned Hills Street Grocer or stock up at the IGA Express supermarket next door. Queens Domain is only a six minute stroll away offering acres of parkland with a myriad of walking and bicycle trails that link to the Derwent River and Tasman Bridge, and loads of cool things to see and do.
Buses leave regularly from Elizabeth Street to the city centre and it’s only a 15 minute stroll down the road. The CBD is filled with colonial landmark buildings and boutique restaurants, check out In The Hanging Garden while you’re there, a live cultural precinct with music, kitchens and bars, and if you get a chance, Urban Greek is a great spot for dinner. Shuffle down to the river to Constitution Docks where the Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race finishes and Hobart City Ferry Terminal where you can float a ride down the river to MONA.
Salamanca Place is just around the corner from the docks with its vibrant fine-dining restaurants and cosmopolitan bars hugging the riverside and where the iconic Salamanca Market opens every Saturday from 8.30am to 3pm. One of Tasmania’s most visited destinations, it extends the full length of Hobart's historic Salamanca Place, from the silos end to the top of Davey Street. There’s a wide selection of locally made fresh produce, hot coffee, dining options, handmade products and gifts, with the artisans, designers and producers all on hand to talk you through their creations.
