The Guesthouse Maleny

The Residence lounge has two seating areas, comfortably seating eight to ten people and features period chandeliers and light fittings. The wood burner fireplace will be stocked up for your use in the winter and AC is available year round. The kitchen is an entertainer’s delight with double wall mounted ovens, a five burner induction cook top, double Dishdrawers, granite bench top, and bamboo flooring. A separate dining room off the kitchen will seat six to eight people, opening out to a spacious north facing balcony. Two bedrooms have queen beds, one bedroom has a double bed and the fourth room with a King Single bed is in the Study, which is an internal room with windows that open into the corridor. On the lower level of the Guesthouse are four apartments and studios ( sleeping eight) which can be accessed by an internal staircase. For larger groups, we can accommodate up to 15 people by combining The Residence and The Guesthouse apartments in one booking.

The Guesthouse is a charming three-bedroom 225 sqm house originally from the 1920’s and recently meticulously restored with detailed period refinement. There are five steps to the front door landing. On the lower level are four self contained apartments and studios. For large groups the entire property can be hired and has eight beds sleeping fifteen.

Maleny is also well known for it's abundance of fresh produce, variety of restaurants and award winning Wedding venue locations. Whilst in Maleny we suggest you take a drive along Mountain View Road, to admire the breathtaking views of the Glasshouse Mountains and beyond. You may also like to stop off at Mary Cairn Cross Park, which has a café and BBQ areas, or head over to the Maleny Botanical Gardens, or Kondalilla National Park. In the warmer months, many like to refresh at Gardners Falls or head east 30 mins to one of the many Sunshine Coast beaches that are on offer. Other local attractions include the Maleny Dairies and the Maleny Cheese Factory.
