We are the new onsite Managers at The York, here to help you enjoy your stay in Yorkeys Knob, & the Cairns region in general. The York is a small, friendly complex just across the (quiet) Esplanade from the beach. All spacious apartments are fully self-contained, with full cooking & laundry facilities. The large lap pool is particularly popular & also features a spa. With several good restaurants & food outlets in the nearby shopping complex & also a general grocery store, Yorkeys has everything you need for a great holiday. Just 12 minutes stroll away is the great Half Moon Bay Marina which has an excellent outdoor bar & restaurant deck overlooking the marina, & also a Courtesy Coach. There are also courtesy coaches to other nearby venues such as Bluewater Pub & Marina, & the Smithfield Tavern The regular local bus service to Cairns & Smithfield picks up just outside the gate here. We can help with all tours & local info at our Reception Tour desk, giving you a better chance of getting the right tour for the right weather on the day. We look forward to seeing you at The York. Yorkey Knob is just a 15 - 20 minute drive into Cairns, & just a short hop to the Smithfield Shopping Centre with it's Cinemas & restaurants & pub, & Coles & Woolworths supermarkets. Plenty of restaurants to choose from nearby, & everyone appreciates the quietness of Yorkeys.
