Located in American River on Kangaroo Island, The River Suites is a boutique hotel offering 8 king rooms, each with stunning ocean views.
All our rooms are fitted with king size beds, some can be divided into two doubles. We provide high speed internet and some appliances such as microwave, toaster and kettle. The outdoor pool is open between November and April.
All room rates include breakfast served at the restaurant from 8:00 am. Get a special discount on our dinner experience when booking rooms with us.
American River is a nature lovers dream. For those seeking peace and quite amongst nature but want the convenience of a short trip to the hustle and bustle of Penneshaw or Kingscote.
Tucked away right at the bottom of the hill are beautiful beaches along the bay with its own feathery residence. Perfect for the early birds who enjoy a morning stroll to see the beautiful black swans, pelicans and playful dolphins who make an appearance in our cozy little bay.
