Overlooking the mighty Indian Ocean and the shores of Gas Bay in Gnarabup, Whitehorses is a timeless beauty that lends guests the very best in laidback, coastal living. Named after the wild, big-wave whitecaps in Margaret River that many-a-surfer has tried to tame, this modern beach shack is spread across two levels and features serene indoor and outdoor spaces that shine a spotlight on the home’s proximity to the sea. Inside, timber materials and tan soft furnishings create warming interior spaces ideal for relaxing in style, while outside, grey tones meld into Whitehorses’s surrounding landscape, like whitewash along the shores of Gas Bay. Set before a blue and green horizon, the home’s main open-plan living space is framed by floor-to-ceiling glass windows and connects effortlessly to a divine outdoor alfresco. This synergy with inside and out allows guests to embrace the elements, while making the most of Whitehorses’s seaside locale. Please note: the only air-cooling available at this property in the warmer months is a ceiling fan in the living area and pedestal fans in the bedrooms. Nature days can be spent walking sections of the world renowned Cape to Cape track; exploring ancient limestone caves; surfing at Surfer’s Point, Gas Bay, Huzzas, North Point and more; abseiling the cliffs of Wilyabrup; mountain-biking along purpose built trails like Middle Earth; watching the stingrays at Hamelin Bay and visiting other attractions such as Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse, Contos Beach, Boranup Forest. The quaint townships of Cowaramup, Witchcliffe and Augusta are nearby, or explore the northern end of the region towards Yallingup, Dunsborough, and Busselton.
