This is a cosy downtown Bansko one bedroom apartment, walking distance to bars, cafes, grocery stores and restaurants. It is about a 10 minute walk to the ski gondola which takes you up the mountain ski slopes in another 30 min or so. Kitchen, dining and living area opens up to a balcony, offering a view of the Pirin mountain and nearby roof tops, typically covered in snow in the winter season. There's basic exercise gear - yoga mat and bricks, perfect pushups and elastic resistance bands.
There is a fine Bulgarian bakery (Banski Samun) next door baking a variety of artisanal breads with walnuts, honey, plums, cheeses and other goodies as well as world famous banitsa (feta and egg pastry) - it's where we usually start our weekend mornings. There is also a Russian sweet pastry shop in the basement of the building in front. Pirin 75 is our bar of choice for both coffee and drinks.
Recycling and waste bins are half a block up the street by the Castello restaurant.
There is one parking space for guests. It is on the sidewalk in front of the building. It is the first spot from left to right, as you are facing the building (next to the fence).
It is a self check in property, no need to arrange a check in time. Keys are in a lockbox. Lockbox is hanging on the black fence, immediately on your left when you enter through the front gate. We'll send you the lockbox code before your arrival.
As a reminder, driving in Bulgaria is on the right. If you're coming from the UK, Ireland, Cypress, Malta or Australia it might take a little while to get used to this.
If you prefer to get a transfer from the Sofia Airport (about 2 hr drive) you can get in touch with Traventuria or Bansko-transfers.
If you have any questions about the place or Bansko itself, please message us - we'll be happy to help with tips and recommendations.
