A wonderful combination of the irresistible charm of old Sofia from the beginning of the 20th century and all modern amenities. Through a small entrance hall with a toilet and а separate space for the washing machine and the dryer, you enter a spacious vestibule with a kitchen, a bar counter and a dining space. To the left is the bathroom, and ahead of you - 2 rooms.
The bedroom has dimmed lighting. The King size bed with an extremely comfortable mattress and several types of pillows facilitates the comfortable sleep for everyone. The small balcony is the only place permitted for smoking in the apartment.
The second room is a convertible, it can be both a living room with a comfortable sofa and a bedroom for a maximum of 2 people. The room is bright, with many windows facing east and south. Two pairs of curtains provide privacy during the day and а blackout atmosphere for peaceful sleep during the night.
The apartment is located on the 4th floor and in order to get there you have to overcome only 66 steps. Unfortunately, there is no elevator.
This is my grandmother's apartment. I was born and lived here until I was 6 years old.
Now, when I travel, I prefer staying in B§Bs and traditional dwellings, and I have always appreciated the potential of the granny's flat in this regard. I have dreamed of turning it into a cozy guest house, where everything is easy, comfortable and pleasant.
I am easy to contact with. I respond quickly to @-mails and always pick up the phone. I speak Bulgarian, English and Russian, and if necessary I can also include my daughters in Italian and Spanish.
You will stay in the top, the top center of Sofia. The neighborhood is a center in geographical, cultural and business terms. Most government offices, banks, almost all theaters, the Sofia Opera House, the National Palace of Culture, the most prestigious shops, restaurants, bars and many other interesting places are located in the immediate vicinity.
The neighborhood itself offers many positive emotions. The other afternoon I could hear through the window the soothing soft singing of the Adventists, and then, surprisingly, classical jazz in a perfect saxophone performance wafted from the Takev's garden. It invited me to come out and listen to it in the company of a cocktail at the famous cocktail bar in the garden. Shortly before that, from the same place, the literary walk had started with always very interesting topics and narrators (free for everyone who joins). One could taste a glass of wine afterwards at Wine&Co on the right corner or visit the "Graf Ignatiev" square further down where an art happening was taking place.
I am sure that the neighborhood will surprise you with something pleasant, it always happens.
In the apartment you will find many brochures about everything interesting that happens in Sofia.
