The village of Burrell Boom is so sweet! The people are friendly and open-hearted, the wild life is amazing, the property is a piece of jungle paradise, and the location is central: 20 mins to the airport, and close to so many amazing things to do in Belize. Time changes when you hang in the hammock on the deck of the Howler House listening to the birds and the frogs and watching the river roll by - ahhhh. You will see Big Red, the giant Iguana that lives in the tree beside the house, and there is a new baby crocodile just hatched in the pond behind the house (Do not feed!!) and the family of Howler Monkeys that might wake you up at night howling at the moon, has been living on this river bank for generations and generations. In the evening the sky is alive with stars and the deck of the house is the best place in the world to be.

While the Howler House is nestled on the riverbank high in the canopy and you feel like you are deep in the jungle — really, it is just a 10 -minute walk up to the sweetest little village. But, most convenient, the Howler House is located centrally to all the activities you might want to enjoy while in Belize.
