Your home away from home is at the entrance to Quidi Vidi Village as you travel down around the head of Quidi Vidi Lake - home of the Royal St. John's Regatta, North America's oldest sporting event. The Regatta runs the first Wednesday in August (weather dependent) and features fixed seat rowing, food and plenty of games of chance. Just before you get to the house, there is a large parking lot across the river from the Pond to the harbour which features a number of species of fish that travel the route in-land and out to sea.
