Your getaway starts before you even arrive.
As you wind your way through the mountains heading to Labelle, Quebec, the world begins to slow down. The air feels fresher. The views get better. And when your tires hit the dirt road, you’ll know you’re almost there. Keep your eyes open—deer love to graze in the open fields nearby.

Nestled in the woods just a short drive from Mont-Tremblant, (1:45 min drive from Montreal), Timbernook is a cozy, private (hijab friendly), rustic A-frame log cabin designed for connection, laughter, and a little adventure. Whether you’re gathering with friends, spending quality time with family, or bringing your team together for a retreat, this space was made for slowing down and making memories.
We’re two couples with a lively crew of kids and a shared love for the great outdoors. The woods have always been our family’s happy place — a space to slow down, breathe deeply, and make memories together.
Chalet Timbernook is our way of sharing that magic with others. We’ve poured our hearts into creating a cozy, welcoming retreat where you can reconnect with nature and the people you love most.
This private cabin in the woods is an excellent escape year round.
Winter at Timbernook
When snow blankets the forest, Timbernook becomes a cozy winter escape. Hit the slopes at Mont-Tremblant, the Laurentians’ tallest peak with alpine touring and a lively après-ski village, or enjoy quieter runs at Mont Blanc, the region’s hidden gem. Explore Domaine Saint-Bernard’s 45 km of trails for snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, or winter walks. End the day with fireside warmth, a hot tub under falling snow, and cozy nights in.
Summer at Timbernook
When the forest turns green, adventure begins. Paddle or float the Rivière Rouge—from white-water rafting to calm canoe, kayak, or tubing trips with sandy riverbanks for swimming. Hike or bike scenic trails in Mont-Tremblant or Labelle like Green Mountain Loop or Nez-de-l’Indien, or climb Via Ferrata Mont-Tremblant for cliffside views. Relax with picnics, wildlife watching, and peaceful drives through the Laurentians’ winding mountain roads.
