This small apartment in the old town of Losone is ideal for a couple looking for an affordable, quiet base from which to explore the many wonders of the Locarno region, including swimming spots, hiking, traditional food and festivals including jazz, blues, and of course the Locarno International Film Festival. Locarno and Ascona are each only 10-15 minutes away by bus.

Neighbourhood information

The charming old town of Losone is known for its many traditional restaurants (grotto). The town has several grocery stores, a great beach on the Maggia river, and easy access to Locarno, Ascona or the nearby valleys (Maggia, Verzasca, Centovalli, Onsernone). The closest bus stop is Losone Posta.
