The apartment opens onto a spacious living room with a lounge area, furnished with elegant mid-century armchairs and a comfortable L-shaped double sofa bed (Please note: the sofa bed is not prepared, we think it is proper to use the sofa during non-sleeping hours. You will find sheets, pillows and blankets in the closet/shelf most adjacent to the sofa). Large sliding glass doors flood the space with natural light and provide a breathtaking view, creating perfect continuity between the interior and the outdoor balcony. The kitchen, adjacent to the dining area, features a clean and minimalist design and is fully equipped with state-of-the-art appliances. A practical peninsula with an induction cooktop completes the space—ideal for enjoying every convivial moment. The bedroom is cozy and functional, with a double bed and a large built-in wardrobe, perfect for organizing a comfortable stay. From here, you can easily reach nearby Locarno on foot or by bike, following the scenic lakeside path. Along the way, you'll find historic villas, cozy cafés, fine restaurants, and lovely beaches that offer unforgettable views of the lake. The path continues to the lakeside promenade in Muralto, where you'll find the Lido di Locarno, the Peace Park, and the Camellia Park—ideal spots for a stroll immersed in nature. From the Locarno pier, many boats depart for fascinating lake tours, allowing you to explore the picturesque villages along the shore, each with its own unique and timeless charm. How to get there: By car, take the A13 motorway and exit at Orselina/Brione/Muralto/Minusio, then follow GPS instructions. The apartment is about a 5-minute drive. By train, from Tenero station take bus No. 323 towards Contra and get off at the “Mondacce” stop (4 stops, about 5 minutes), then walk for approximately 10 minutes to reach the property. Alternatively, from Locarno station take bus No. 1 towards “Gordola, Centro Professionale” and get off at the “Minusio, Esplanade” stop (8 stops, about 13 minutes). Walk for about 15 minutes to reach the apartment.
