The “HITrental Schmidgasse apartments” are a highlight from the moment you enter the building with the illustrious name “Bilgrighus 1357”. The building was constructed 1357 and has been habited ever since. In those 650 years countless people walked up its narrow and steep staircase and had to watch not to nudge their heads. But everyone that overcomes this small challenge is rewarded with a freshly renovated apartment with all the temporary comfort (TV, WiFi, etc.). In short, with the “HITrental Schmidgasse apartments” you’re not just visiting a historic part of Zurich, but you live history! Please not that the building – due to the Swiss laws of protection for site of historic interest – has no elevator. The building has a steep and narrow staircase which can be a problem for people with heavy luggage or mobility issues.

The charming "Schmidgasse Apartments" are just steps away from Limmatquai. On a side street of the vibrant "Niederdorfstrasse" right in the village of the old part quarter. The apartment is in walking distance from the central station, where trains bring you in 15/30 min departure cycles, to the Alps, to the urban areas of other larger cities and in less than 20 minutes to the airport.
