In compliance with Colombian tax laws, foreigners and Colombian citizens residing abroad who receive a PIP3, PIP5, PIP6, PIP10, TP7, TP11, or TP12 visa upon entering the country are exempt from paying the 19% VAT tax. This exemption is only valid when purchasing an accommodation and services package. The permit must be shown upon arrival.
