Manila is home to several art galleries and the original Calle de la Buena Mesa. That is a street full of several small cafes and restaurants, offering Colombian, Peruvian, Argentine, Mexican, Spanish, Italian, German food, ... Manila is the perfect spot for tourists. It's 400 meters from the Poblado metro station, which gives easy access to the entire valley of Medellín City. It's 7' walking to Parque Poblado, 10' walking to the nightlife Parque Lleras and Parque Poblado. Several atm's and supermarkets are within walking distance as well. Safe and quiet neighbourhood, still close to all the action and itself a variety of bars and restaurants.
