Beforehand you should know that Tortuguero is a town of only 1 kilometer of extension. It is very far away from the city as you may know it. It is a town where many species of animals live; among them: mammals, birds and other species in protection of the Tortuguero National Park. Occasionally the light can go out and the water as well. The hotel has no control over these events but we try to do everything possible so that this is not an impediment to the enjoyment of your stay.
