Hi - My name is Fiona and I welcome you to stay at our Sea View villa on the edge of the Akamas Peninsular, I'm sure you will agree it is a really special location, quite unique - It is within short walking distance to some well rated cafes and restaurants. ~ I can help with any enquiries you may have prior to and following your booking. You will be welcomed to the villa on the morning following your arrival for a short Meet and Greet by our friendly and helpful property managers, Carrie and Rod, to answer any queries you may have when you arrive - there will however be a Guest Information Pack at the property which we have included everything we think you could possibly need to know about the property and the surrounding area. ~ We chose this villa as we fell in love with the Akamas Peninsular after returning to Paphos, Cyprus on holidays for many years prior to choosing to buy a holiday home here. We love the unspoilt natural landscape of the Akamas, breath-taking views, native wild flowers, free roaming goats (the bell sounds are super relaxing) and the opportunity to do snorkelling, bike rides, walking / hiking, running, yoga on our balcony, hot tubs watching the pink sunsets. We were even very fortunate when we visited the nearby harbour at Agios Georgios in August recently to swim with Giant Loggerhead Turtles, that frequent that area around this time of year - it was absolutely incredible - an experience we will never forget.

Akamas Lookout is located around 35-40 minutes drive from Paphos Airport - between the airport and the villa are places to stop on the way if needs be such as Paphos town centre / harbour, Coral Bay for bars, supermarkets and restaurants and then 10 minutes from Coral Bay you will find the village of Agios Georgios, we are just in the lane very near to SeaRays cafe bar which is a great place for a drink or a snack.~ We would recommend renting a car as there are so many places on the island to discover (Driving in Cyprus is on the LEFT like in the UK). There is a fantastic Supermarket with everything you could possibly need – only 8 minutes drive away before you reach Coral Bay – they even do Free Home Deliveries – so for anyone deciding not to rent a car, you can use the regular bus service to Coral Bay and make use of the Home Delivery service to the Villa. A short stroll away from the Villa you will find an ancient Necropolis within the Meleti Forest, which dates back to the Hellenistic period - definitely worth a wander to. ~ The area near the villa is excellent for bike riding and walking as we are next to the Meleti Forest and UNESCO Akamas nature reserve. There is lovely beach area, that you will probably have to yourselves which is wonderful - it is approx 300m in front of the house - you walk down a pathway over the road from SeaRays cafe bar (which is just in front of the Villa). It has sand, rock pool areas and is great for snorkelling. ~ A cycle, very short car ride or determined walk away is the very popular Cypriot tavern / restaurant, Viklari The Last Castle, which has amazing views. ~ Less than a mile away is the historic harbour of Agios Georgios (St Georges) a small fishing village, which also has the remains of an ancient Basilica with floor mosaics still visible. Nearby, Lara Beach the near-deserted beach at Lara Bay as it is known, is home to loggerhead and green turtles and is a turtle conservation area. Monk seals also dwell in the sea caves.
