The Stephansplatz Underground Station is a 2-minute walk from the Alster-Hof. Intercity trains stop at Dammtor Train Station, a 5-minute walk away. We are very pleased to inform you that our modernisation and renovation work at the Hotel Alster-Hof will enter the next round on 7 April 2025. This time it will be particularly exciting, as we will be completely redesigning our public area on the ground floor, which includes our breakfast area, for you in this construction phase. We would like to provide you with the most important information below and ask for your understanding in advance should these measures result in any restrictions: From 17.3.25, we will have to close the bar and fitness area in preparation for the renovation work. However, the sauna area can be used as usual, only access will be via the main entrance of our neighbouring hotel Baseler-Hof during this time. With the start of the work on 7 April, we will also have to move the breakfast area to another location on the ground floor. There will be no change for you and our breakfast offer will be available to you as usual. The work will be completed by the beginning of November 2025 at the latest and we are already looking forward to presenting the results to you. We will be happy to answer any questions you may have at any time and look forward to welcoming you to our hotel soon.
