The historic Kreuzberg forester's house with integrated Kreuzberg chapel was built in 1736 and is located on a wooded hill in an idyllic location above Boppard. Families, hikers, cyclists and nature lovers enjoy the wonderful view of the Rhine in an idyllic location. We are surrounded by fields and the impressive Boppard city forest. Our holiday home is close to a well-known riding stable. Our holiday home is also close to a riding stable. You are welcome to put your horses on our pasture (approx. 2 hectares) with shelter. With Jana you have the option of booking riding lessons or rides.
The settlement with a park-like garden with a lawn, biotope pond, old trees and a half-timbered stable is surrounded by numerous hiking trails, including the well-known Rheinsteig and the Welterbesteig. Nearby are the Bopparder Hamm, a wooded ridge on the Rhine and a well-known wine-growing region, as well as Rheinfels Castle, an impressive castle complex from the 14th century.
A highlight of our Old Forester's House in Boppard is the beautiful winter garden, which is ideal for a family reunion, breakfast with friends, training events or group meetings. It has space for 21 people.
We offer a fully equipped garden kitchen with separate sanitary area in the basement of the main house for all holiday guests. You can reach the garden kitchen from the front or via the lower terrace.
A centrally located utility room with a washing machine, dryer, clothes rack and ironing station is available for all our guests.
The chapel at the forester's house was built in 1710 in the neo-Gothic style. It is dedicated to the Holy Family and has beautiful furnishings with an altar, a pulpit and windows with religious motifs.

Our holiday apartment Pavillon in the Old Forester's House Boppard is located in the front side building. The holiday apartment Pavillon is accessed via the terrace next to the main building. The ground floor apartment is 90 m² and consists of three rooms, a kitchen and a bathroom. It has been extensively renovated and equipped with high-quality interiors. It has its own terrace.
The cozy double room Eaton Place in the Old Forester's House Boppard above the Rhine is 28 m² and is on the ground floor. This room does not have any cooking facilities. We only provide you with a kettle and a refrigerator. If you would like to prepare food, you are welcome to use our garden kitchen and the winter garden. To get to the garden kitchen and winter garden, walk about 5 meters across the forecourt through the entrance door. The modern bathroom is across the hallway and is at your sole disposal.
Our holiday apartment Miss Marple with a living space of 65 m² is located on the 1st floor of the Old Forester's House Boppard. We have extensively renovated it and furnished it comfortably in an English country house style. If there are four of you staying, there is a sofa bed with a spring core in the living room.
Our holiday apartment Mister Stringer offers a living space of 52 m². It is located on the 2nd floor (and attic) of our old holiday home Boppard. Relax in our cozy holiday apartment high above Boppard with a magnificent view of the Middle Rhine Valley and the city.
Our holiday apartment Farmhouse is located in the rear side building and has direct access to 2 ground-level, partially covered terraces in front of and behind the house and a sheltered seating area. The wonderful ground floor apartment is 90 m².
In the warm seasons you can relax in our garden park on our various garden terraces, the large lawn with garden tables, garden chairs, garden loungers and parasols or by the pond.

The Altes Forsthaus Boppard is a historic settlement in the town of Boppard on the Rhine in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is located on the Kreuzberg above the 2000-year-old town of Boppard in the romantic "Upper Middle Rhine Valley" with its numerous castles.
