In 2020 we discovered our love for the island of Rügen and decided to create a year-round holiday home that blends harmoniously into the island’s landscape. We enjoy being active and love going on both short and longer cycling tours. Our holiday home is the perfect starting point: whether it’s a trip to Cape Arkona or to the traditional fishing village of Vitt – both can easily be reached by bike.

Lancken is a quiet district of the municipality of Dranske, located on the scenic Wittow Peninsula in the northwest of Rügen. The area is characterized by wide fields, coastal landscapes, and the unique interplay between the Baltic Sea and the Bodden lagoons. In the immediate vicinity you will find restaurants, shopping facilities, and various water sports opportunities – ideal for sailing, surfing, or stand-up paddling. The peninsula also offers plenty of cycling and walking routes to enjoy the island’s unspoiled nature. Popular destinations such as Cape Arkona or the picturesque fishing village of Vitt can easily be reached by bike. For more relaxed days, the coastline offers quiet spots for swimming, fishing, or simply unwinding and taking in the views.
