Very welcome @ Gästehaus Am Hochsimmer -holiday region lake Laacher See & Volcano Park- Leisure - Recreation - Vacation The family owned guesthouse “Am Hochsimmer” is located in the heart of the Volcano Park in the Eastern Eifel region. With comfortable rooms, tasty breakfast, it serves you as ideal base for your exploration of this attractive and varied volcanic region. The historic Abbey of Maria Laach - situated on the extinct volcano Laacher See - is only 6 km away. In the surroundings you will find an extensive network of well signposted hiking trails, called Traumpfade ("dream trails") and many impressive points of interest (e.g. world's deepest beer cellars, the world's highest cold water geyser, UNESCO World Heritage "Upper Middle Rhine Valley"... ).
