Our house is located in a quiet, central location in the district of Oberschönau in Schönau a. Königssee. Bus stop, 2 bakeries, butcher's store, 2 restaurants, doctor's office, mountain guide's office and newspaper store can be reached comfortably in 1 minute walking time. Wonderful hiking trails start directly at the house. A small veterinary practice is located directly in the house. Königssee, Jennerbahn and the international artificial ice- bobsleigh- and toboggan run "Lotto Bayern Eisarena" are reachable in 5 minutes driving time, as well as the entrance to the national park Berchtesgaden. Shopping possibilities, numerous restaurants and the train station, as well as the Watzmann-Therme, ice skating rink and the historic market Berchtesgaden with cinema, royal castle and museum of local history can also be reached in a few minutes driving time. A 10 km cross-country ski trail starts directly behind our house. 2 toboggan slopes and a ski lift are also nearby. 4 other skiing areas can be reached within a few minutes drive. Only 30 kilometers away is the Austrian cultural capital Salzburg. A parking lot is available directly at the house. We offer our guests free WLAN.
