The main house was built in 1734 as a traditional Lusatian half-timbered house. During the period of the former GDR, it was used as training site by the winter sport elite of the country. Prior to the complete destruction it was bought in 2016 and completely reconstructed. Since September 2019 it can be rented as a holiday house. ​ Two apartments with modern interior could be created without loosing the charm of both building periods. Both can be rented as separate apartments or (if booked together for the same period) as one holiday house. The main house ("Umgebindehaus") contains 5 bedrooms (each with spearate bathroom) and can be used for 10 persons. 2 bedrooms provide enough space for an additional baby bed. Our so-called "barn" contains 2 bedrooms (also with separate bathrooms) for 4 persons and a living room with a daybed for an additional person. On top, both apartments provide the ability to use the roof lounge, the sauna, the fitness room and the multimedia room that are separated from the apartments via code-secured doors. For 9,- EU (4,- for kids up to 14 years) we can offer a breakfast at the Sonnebergbaude hotel 200m next to our appartments.
