Jörg knows all corners of the world (Himalayas, Serengeti, Antarctica, Okavango Delta, etc., etc.) like the back of his hand, but also the hidden highlights that are "off the beaten track" in the local Elbe Sandstone Mountains. As a passionate nature and animal photographer (Olympus Visionary) and tour guide, he is a nature lover through and through. However, he also appreciates service and support and to stage the pleasant things in life for his guests. He not only gives you tips for fantastic photo locations along the way, he also tells you where to get the juiciest steak and the tastiest wine in the area. For exclusive photo hikes he is available by arrangement, including Olympus camera equipment!

Our villa is presumably the closest private residence to Bastei Bridge in what is probably the most famous health resort in Saxon Switzerland. Who can say that about themselves? And as the last house before the edge of the forest, you are also blessed with the rustling of leaves and the twittering of blackbirds.

The uniqueness of the landscape in Saxon Switzerland and especially that of our small climatic health resort is worth protecting. Therefore, the wonderful district of Niederrathen, in which the private residence Villa Amselgrund is located, is a traffic-calmed zone. Since our private residence is practically in the center of Saxon Switzerland, countless highlights can be hiked directly from the front door.
