Our cosy, newly renovated and comfortably furnished approx. 75 sqm. on 2 floors large holiday apartment has 2 bedrooms (1st bedroom: bed 180cm and an 80cm bed. 2nd bedroom: bed 140cm), living and dining room with fully equipped kitchen, shower with bath, toilet, terrace and garden (with a wonderful view of the Main Valley and the barbecue area), 3x TV with satellite connection and a parking space for your car.
Please note!! For the people with knee problems or similar, it can cause a problem as there are many stairs - both down to the front door and inside the house itself.
If you want to take children with you, please ask!!!

Viereth-Trunstadt is a municipality in Upper Franconia west of Bamberg am Main at the foot of the Steigerwald. The municipality is located directly on the Autobahn 70 and about 10 km north-west of Bamberg. The federal highway 26 runs through the municipal area in an east-west direction. In the municipal area there are 6 signposted hiking trails from 3 km to 12 km in length, which lead through all districts. Information is available on the municipality's website.
Enjoyment:
1. Brewery-Gasthof Kundmüller in Weiher, with the beer garden, the distillery and a small farm. The brewery's beers have received many awards, including European champion titles.
2. Brewery-Gasthof Mainlust in Viereth with beer garden and Franconian cuisine.
Sights and excursion destinations:
• The parish church of St. Peter and Marzellinus, Trunstadt
• The former Rüssenbach Castle, Trunstadt
• The Catholic Curate Church of St. James, Viereth
• The Viereth barrage with power station building and tow train lock from 1924
A trip to nearby Bamberg with its historic city center should not be missed.
Memmelsdorf with its beautiful Seehof Castle is not far either. Thermal spa Staffelstein with a large sauna area, Haßberge and Franconian Forest nature park, Steigerwald treetop path, bowling, Playmobil FunPark, Freizeit-Land Geiselwind, Schloss Thurn amusement park and other beautiful excursion destinations can be found in our guest information folder.

The municipality is located directly on the Autobahn 70, exit Viereth-Trunstadt.
By bicycle:
Viereth-Trunstadt is on the Main Cycle Path.
By train:
The nearest train stations are in Bamberg or Oberhaid, then continue by bus.
Local public transport in the metropolitan region of Nuremberg is operated by the Verkehrsverbund Großraum Nürnberg VGN. It is possible to use different means of transport with one ticket, such as bus, train, S-Bahn or U-Bahn. Tickets can be purchased online or via an app.
