The house dates from the late 1800s and was built with a timber contruction and bricks of clay.
Originally it was a farm worker's house until my great-grandmother bought it in 1920 and established her studio in the one half of the house (which is not for rent). Since then my grandmother inherited it and after her my mother.
The other house on the property dates from 1968 and was built by my parents to my grandmother, with respect for the old country style.
Forest, hills, bogs and meadows are just outside the door. The beach is within walking / biking distance (6.5 km).
The house is 51m2 with 1 double bed + 1 sofa bed for 2 persons.
Heating from 1 fire stove and 2 electric heating panels. Wifi is a bit slow but works - be patient.
NB : Please notice that I have 2 houses on the same property, separated with each their garden and each their entrances. If there are guests in the other house you will share the parking space/drive way with them. Also, please be considerate of guests in the other house regarding noisy behavior, loud music etc.
I myself grew up in this beautiful protected area in Tibirke Hills - near the forest, hills, marshes, meadows and beaches. The house has been my family's property for four generations and now it's my turn to take care of it :o)
I always welcome my guests personally and introduce you to the house and hand you the keys.
The house will be pre-heated before your arrival if needed according to the season.
I can be contacted by email, phone or text messages.
I will be available along your stay, when Im off work, if needed.
The idyll and the wild nature surrounds the holiday/weekend here in Tibirke Hills. Look forward to walking and biking to forest and beach - right outside the door.
Enjoy the summer's many flea markets / handcraft markets, visit farms serving delicious homemade organic food and the exhibiting local artists.
Welcome :o)
