We live in the idyllic small town of Troense on the island Taasinge. We offer lovely rooms with a homemade tasty and delicious breakfast. The breakfast is served in your room. You are of course also welcome to enjoy your breakfast in the shared area inside, in the garden or at the beach. The house with an annexe The main house is from 1905 and completely renovated in 2012. The original colours characterise the house outside. Inside, we offer modern facilities. The annexe in the garden is renovated in 2018. Our small beach and beach house In addition to the main building and garden, there is a beach opposite the house. Just cross the road outside the house and you're there. Here you will find a cute little beach house with thatched roof. At our private beach you will be able to sit and enjoy the sea with a view to the island Thurø. Take a dip or a swim in the clear water from our small jetty, or rent sea kayaks close by.

Troense is located on the island Taasinge, close to Svendborg. Pass the bridge from Svendborg with the beautiful view – and you are here. The small town is next to the sea and is characterized by pleasant streets with beautiful, idyllic and peaceful houses some from the 1700s. This is especially seen in the streets of Grønnegade and Badstuen. Go for a walk on the street Troense Strandvej. On one side, the old gardens with low hedges and beautiful old fruit trees are seen - on the other, you’ll find small lodges with gardens towards the sea that separates Taasinge and Thurø. In walking distance you´ll find the castle of Valdemar. You´ll find a small grocery shop and restaurant in walking distance Ohavsstien, a 220 kilometers long hiking route in the South Funen Island, passes through Troense. Cycle routes also pass our small town, try for example the scenic “Love Route”, which is based on the sad love story of Sixten Sparre and Elvira Madigan. Or take the bike route Taasinge around.
