I'm a retired teacher of German origin who decided to spend his old age in a quiet and peaceful place. After living for more than 60 years in the crowded "Ruhr district" in Germany with its millions of people I really wanted to retire to a much quieter and less crowded area. So I decided to settle down in Estonia and to - No! Not to sit on the sofa and watch TV all day long! - do something quite different from my former profession - offer accommodation for people similar to me: eager to learn about other cultures and their histories, about backgrounds and lifestyles of other persons and about everything else that spices up our lives.
By the way: this keeps me fit both physically and mentally, bewares me of turning to boredom and "the bottle", gives meaning to life by doing something useful.
I like good company, music of all styles, a simple and sustainable lifestyle, and am interested in culture, history, religions (!) and politics (just to name a few of my interests). Meet me and find out yourself!
