Wiire – Old Fisherman’s Farmhouse & Smoke Sauna Wiire is a unique old 100 y. farmhouse located by Pärnu Bay in a historic fishing village, where guests can experience life as it was in the past, in harmony with Estonian culture and nature. Our farmhouse and smoke sauna are family-run, focusing on quality, authenticity, genuineness, and personalized service. We preserve Estonia’s intangible cultural heritage and offer smoke sauna evenings, sauna rituals, bridal saunas, birthdays, and other special occasions, all while respecting guests’ privacy – no other visitors are present on the property. Inside the farmhouse, we have also preserved a Soviet-era room to show guests how people lived and furnished their homes when materials were scarce and everything was in short supply. Guests can enjoy the smoke sauna, hot tub, swimming in the pond, grilling, board and outdoor games, or visit nearby beaches. Food enthusiasts can try cooking fresh fish in the smoke oven, just as local fishermen have done for generations. Wiire values sustainable living: we sort waste, use composting toilets, and compost for ornamental plants, trees, and shrubs. Wiire offers a peaceful retreat, attentive service, and memorable moments in harmony with nature – everything is arranged to make you feel at home.

The farm’s large garden includes a pond, a grill house, and a hot tub, creating the perfect setting for relaxation. For cycling enthusiasts, we offer five bicycles free of charge to explore the coastal villages and nearby sandy beaches. Wiire Farm also boasts a nearly 104-year-old smoke sauna, where you can experience UNESCO-recognized sauna rituals, providing a special and dignified experience for all sauna lovers. The steam is soft and healing, offering relaxation for both body and mind. Afterward, enjoy a refreshing dip in the pond or an ice hole in winter, and relax on the sauna terrace while watching the sunset and sea eagles soar. The smoke sauna and hot tub are preheated upon request and are not included in the booking price. They must be reserved in advance and paid for separately. Saulepa Fishing Farm and Smoke Sauna is located 12 km from Pärnu, in the historic fishing village of Saulepa. The road to our farm follows the Romantic Beach Road, which is also part of the Coastal Hiking Trail along the shores of the Baltic Sea (European long-distance trail E9). About 5 km from us, across the bay, lies Whitebeach Valgerand – a popular seaside recreation area with beautiful coastal forests, dunes, and sandy beaches. The area also features the White Beach golf courses and a 9-meter-high circular observation tower, offering excellent views of nature and the sea. Children can enjoy an adventure park with six high-ropes courses, as well as a disc golf course and padel courts. The nearest sandy beach suitable for swimming is only 2 km away. Swimming along our coastline is possible only by boat from our local harbor, as the shore is muddy and covered with reeds. Near us is the Audru polder, built in 1938 to prevent flooding. In spring and autumn, it serves as a stopover for migratory birds and is a favorite spot for birdwatchers. In Audru, about 7 km away, you can also find Wine and the Musicstable restaurants. From Munalaiu Harbor, 22 km away, a ferry takes you to Kihnu Island, whose cultural heritage is protected by UNESCO. The region offers many beautiful sights and attractions: fishing harbors where you can buy fresh fish directly from the boat, Sassi Farm’s horse stable, and just a few minutes by car from our farm, Vana Kooli Kohvik Lindil, which was selected as one of the 150 best Estonian restaurants in the 2023 White Guide. Grocery stores are 5–7 km away. From Kalakuningad you can buy (smoked and fresh fish products) and Reinu Farm’s offer to kids visit a local petting zoo.
