The Laila Flat is situated in a very quiet area, yet very close to the ancient Egyptian historical sites. Wonderful Habu Temple is 600 m away, so walking distance, but you avoid crowd. Old Coptic church is walking distance to the desert. Many other attractions of ancient Thebes are easy to reach by taxi, bikes or even donkey, camel or horse ride. You can relax in air conditioned rooms, in the garden or at the terrace on the roof with magnificent views to the Thebe's Mountains and Habu Temple. Every morning you can observe flying baloons (or even take part yourselves in the baloon ride). The house is decorated in a traditional Egyptian way, with dome ceilings and beautiful openwork decorations in the windows. You can closely see how the life of Egyptian traditional families looks like. You may try traditional Egyptian food or order full breakfast, lunch or dinner made from fresh, homegrown vegetables and fruits. We take care of the comfort of our guests, and cleanliness of the rooms and the whole property. Hand soap and toilette paper is always available. If something is missing just ask and we will organize it for you. We speak English so you may come to us with any problems and any needs, we will help you to get wahatever you need. Is it a taxi, transfer to and from the airport, organization of the trip, guided tours to the temples - anything really what you need is at your hands. We are a very friendly family, open for people, welcoming and hospitable. You may spend some time with us or have a total peace without bothering you by anyone - enjoy and relax after usually busy days of sightseing in ancient Thebes, Luxor, Karnak, or other amazing sites of our heritage.

Our area is simply amazing when it comes to touristic attractions. You will have easy access to all ancient Thebe's sites like temples, tombs, monuments, ruins. It is easy to get to Luxor Temple, Karnak Temple, Edfu Temple. Many other attractions ara available like air baloons ride, horse, donkey and camel riding. You can rent bikes, have a trip on the River Nile to visit the Banana Island where you can eat the banana from the tree. You can take part in safari to the desert, where you spend a night with Beduins. You can have a full program of attractions for 1-2 weeks.
