Imagine waking up on a houseboat in the middle of Cairo, graced with the gorgeous view of the great Nile river. This two stories houseboat offers you a unique and authentic Egyptian experience. Houseboat65 is a stationary floating house situated on the Nile River and in front of Zamalek island and close to Cairo’s must-see attractions. The place is built entirely out of wood with an architectural style from the 1920s and it is suited for both business and leisure travellers. Please note that there will not be any other guests allowed on the houseboat than the ones mentioned in your actual reservation. It's a place that needs a lot of care, not suited for parties, no invitations, no smoking inside and no BBQ or shisha.

• You can easily embark on a city tour and explore Cairo’s city center. A 10-minute drive will get you to Downtown Cairo, Tahrir Square, and The Egyptian Museum. Explore this area with its Italian, French and British architecture, Greek restaurants and Egyptian cafés. • On a lazy day, just cross the bridge to get to Zamalek island. It is a 2-minute drive or a 10-minute walk away from Home. It is a posh neighborhood where most of the embassies, nice villas, cafés, and restaurants are located. On your way there, you will encounter many art galleries, and if you want to spice your night a little, you can have a drink on one of Zamalek’s scenic rooftops or party in the best clubs in town. • A 35-minute drive will get you outside the city to visit Egypt iconic Giza Pyramids. • If you are an artist, you can spend most of your time home, seeking inspiration from the sweeping panorama of the Nile River. • “Felucca” is a traditional Egyptian boat. Go for a little tour on the Nile and enjoy the sunset. This is a very short list of what you could do; the rest is left to your imagination!
