The house is situated in a luxury resort which is easily accessible on the A7/AP7motorway (the Mediterranean Corridor) from three airports with frequent, direct flights from the UK, Spain and many other countries (Almeria and Murcia, 1 hour, and Alicante, under 2 hours). The house itself is of modern construction with a large colonial-style veranda which provides shade in the summer, although the house is air-conditional and has a number of ceiling and floor fans for guests' use. Although it is located in a hot climate with high temperatures in the summer, the heat is dry (befitting a desert area!) and there is a breeze every afternoon. There is every facility that guests will need, including a washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, microwave and new water filtration system is soon to be installed, which will obviate the need to buy water in bulk at the supermarket. Repairs and improvements are carried out constantly, whenever required, with the aim of making guests' experience at 11 Powderhorn as enjoyable as possible. The two large bedrooms are made up as twin rooms for golfing parties etc but can easily be made into two large double beds, on request, with reasonable notice.
