San Andres has an excellent bus service,with buses to and from Santa Cruz every 10 minutes(bus 910). The North and South airport have a regular service to Santa Cruz bus station, where you can catch the 910 to San Andres. You can buy a bono for the bus which costs 15 euros and gives you a discount on all your journeys. The car hire is cheap on the island.I recommend hiring by internet because it is cheaper.
