The flat is located in the heart of the Barrio de Huelin which was originally a fishermen's neighbourhood and later it became the first working-class neighbourhood in the city whose industrial chimneys are still part of the landscape. Apart from this, the tastefully refurbished tobacco factory converted into an automobile museum is also a reminder of the neighborhood's industrial past.
