Dreamily located right on Playa Chica,the finest beach in Europe,Tarifa itself is dreamily located at the closest point to Africa and where the Mediterranean meets the Atlantic ! The apartment is one of the largest in Tarifa and has been completely refurbished last year. Even in there heat of Summer the flat remains cool as it views/windows on both sides of the building
Karina and I have been coming to Tarifa every year for 30 years ( Frederica & Eliza for 20) and we love it more every time , it must be bloody special ! well here's the thing .... It is !! As a bon viveur, epicurean , oenophile and (surprisingly ?) a keen watersports nut, frankly this is Paradise !
This is Europes best kept secret, I kid you not ! Uninfluenced by package tourism the whole area is steeped in history, both Andalusian/Spanish and given its geographical position, Roman and Greek ! local/ nearest bar is Waikiki, which happily also happens to be the best chiringuito in the world! If you can tear yourself away from the comforts of the apartment or the delights of Waikiki, there are endless fabulous tapas bars , cocktail bars , nightclubs all within 5 minutes walk , but far enough away to be no disturbance .
