We have paid attention to every detail to ensure that our guests feel not only welcome, but at ease. The apartment is equipped with wifi and both televisions have access to Netflix. In the living room, the account is already set up for immediate use. The guest room has Chromecast so you can connect with your own account. Every room has a separate air conditioning unit and fan so you are in control of the temperature no matter where you are. The apartment features 2 bedrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen, a washing machine, and 1 bathroom with a shower. Books and board games in Spanish and English are available. San José has numerous activities available including snorkeling, diving, kayaking, SUP, boat tours, 4x4, and hiking within city limits. San José Beach is a 3 minute walk away. Los Genoveses is 2.8km and Monsul is 5km away. The nearest airport is Almeria Airport, at 25km.

Casa Casergyo is owned by Sergio (Spanish) and Cassidy (from the USA). Sergio is originally from Madrid and Cassidy from Orlando, Florida. We both enjoy geocaching and always look for caches no matter where we are in the world. In 2011, after a cruise to Morocco, we met two people, Fina and Jorge, who are locals of the Cabo de Gata area. Since then, we found ourselves year after year coming back to enjoy the natural park and discover the small towns in the area. 8 years later, we decided to purchase our second home in San José. As we are both professors, we are not able to fully enjoy our apartment year-round. We have worked hard to transmit the same energy of peace, relaxation and enjoyment that we feel in our home to our guests. Our goal is to share our slice of paradise with you. Although we will not be on hand should a doubt arise, we are always a phone call or email away to answer any questions, receive any feedback, make suggestions about the local area or anything you might find that you need. Casa Casergyo is a 3 minute walk away from the center of the city. The neighborhood is very quiet at night, even in the busiest season. It's a residential area where most neighbors have their vacation home. A few people are full-time residents and it's important to maintain the quiet hours between midnight and 6am. There is a mini supermarket nearby so you can stock up on essentials or get things you may have forgotten. Although the staple cuisine is tapas and there are many tapas restaurants, there are many other varieties, like Italian, Indian and fresh seafood. Local buses to other towns and the bus that serves the Monsul and Genoveses beaches in summer leaves from the center of town, a 10 minute walk from the apartment. San José is different to many coastal towns because it has retained its essence of a fishing village and most visitors come back year after year. You can see families that have been coming to San José for decades and friends that met when they were kids will come back to reunite. It is family oriented and many families frequent the boardwalk or main square to relax and be social.
