Casa Flora is situated in the quiet picturesque village of El Sauzal in the north of Tenerife and consists of a studio apartment in the walled garden of our 200 year old Canarian house, sleeping two people. The studio has it’s own private terrace and entrance and is surrounded by tropical gardens. A large terrace with views of the Teide and sea, with sun beds, chairs and tables and a covered BBQ area for guests sole use.

El Sauzal is situated in the heart of the wine growing area of Tacoronte and has won many international awards for the wine produced here. It was once the capital of Tenerife when La Laguna suffered a plague and has retained the reputation for a healthy prosperous place to live. The architecture to be found is of great interest the church is over 500 years old with a domed roof andlarge plaza. The Town Hall with its imposing balcony gardens and waterfall is a joined to this plaza. Several Canarian houses can be found one of which has been turned into a Museum dedicated to the Sierva de Dios a 17th century nun born there. The Casa del Vino is a Manor house also a Museum offering information on wine and honey production now and in the past, a terrace and coffee shop, restaurant with local dishes made from local produce and an auditorium used for concerts and art exhibitions. The village cultural centre offers a library with internet access (Casa Flora guests may use this facility for free) an art gallery.
